Lastly, defragging the hard drive regularly can also help speed up your PC. Using the Defrag utility on Windows you can sort out all those files that have got 'lost' somewhere on your hard drive, and bring them home to their rightful place! If you haven't used the Defrag utility before, or it's been a while since you last used it, be aware that it can Take some time to complete.
